A plethora of web magazines out there. Does Divanee distinguish itself in any way? Anyone read it on a regular basis? Which magazine or web site best caters to desi women? In what way? When you mention the name of the publication(s), please include a URL, if possible. Time to chime.

I may be biased, but I think Nirali is really going to be different (and that’s not just because that’s what “Nirali” means). In fact, we’re looking for talented professional writers and photographers to contribute. Though Nirali doesn’t launch until September 1, our Nirali In Brief column features news and updates that are of interest to the South Asian community. And when the magazine’s first issue launches, look for entertaining and informative articles, reviews, and more. The September issue features interviews with Kal Penn, Lubna Khalid, and more. October includes a piece on Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni and much more. Check it out at http://www.niralimagazine.com.
