Friends from Inspire Photo Retreats, welcome!! Read the post, watch the interview below and then scroll down some more for some special offers just for you!
Gary Vaynerchuk knows a thing or two about selling wine. But he also knows how you (yes, you) can stand out in a noisy, social world. He has even written a book about it and it comes out today!
Gary is an energetic entrepreneur who someday wants to own the NY Jets. He is also frenetically involved in social media. Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr are his chosen platforms and he dominates each one like no other. I've been following him online, watching his videos (about wine or running business) and have read his books, Crush It!: Why NOW Is the Time to Cash In on Your Passion & The Thank You Economy, cover to cover. I love his tell-it-like-it-is style of writing and his fearlessness to experiment to see what works and what doesn't.
Like the last time, when Gary launched his book, The Thank You Economy, I had the opportunity to sit down with him to about his new book, Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook: How To Tell Your Story In A Noisy, Social World.
Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook launches today, so if you get the chance, buy it right away. Make it part of your winter reading.

Very good Seshu. Well done, not sure I agree with Gary’s way (example) of giving but fundamentally agree with the concept. Great stuff, thank you.

Loved Gary’s blunt response to your friend from Canada’s question. Scary to many of us, but true.

The idea of “give, give, give, ask” has really piqued my interest about this book. Great stuff. Thank you!

Thank you Seshu and your sponsors for this awesome interview with Gary! Specifically needed to have the messages of “choosing” and “content” reinforced for me as I’ve barely scratched the surface of social media. For me, I have used Gary’s example of giving only when I have little or no experience photographing a particular subject (most recently maternity)–still waiting on referrals–proof of the concept not quite working for me yet because I have yet to followup with the “ask”. Hope to check out more of the book if I win! :) I can be reached at mgailunasphoto@gmail.com

I’ve been on Twitter for several years and have always struggled to find a voice. For the past years or so I’ve barely posted and have read even less. I’ve decided to jump start my photography business in 2014 and know I’ll have to do more with Twitter, and all social media, to spread the word. I’m hoping this book can point me in the right direction.

After managing a blog, learning photography and starting a business all at once- I felt that I had to stop blogging because I felt like just another voice on the internet. I greatly look forward to this book by Gary to find my voice again. I found your site from Chris at Preveal… ;)

I had to ask Seshu a question because the giving of service in our profession seems to only attract couponers! and Seshu said give information, which made so much sense and feel I need to get back into twitter. great interview and discussion over all

First of all, thank you Seshu for Tiffinbox! I didn’t know about Tiffinbox’s existence until today after the link from Fundy for the Mystic Seminar.
Being an introvert, poor marketing skills, and shy person, I am hoping that this book would help me elevate my business that I’ve had for few years but still struggling.
I’m not sure if my email is listed on my Disqus account, but here it is just in case:
