Online registration for this year's Nieman Conference on Narrative Journalism at Harvard is now open.
Read The Narrative Journal to get a sense of what took place at last year's conference. It's always great to see a photojournalist included. This year Molly Bingham will be present. I hope I can take some time off of work to go check it out. Students should contact Mark Kramer (click on his name above) to see if they can register for a reduced price if they volunteer their time.

What was asked of them or said by them is a bit of a blur as I was working on the annual SAJA Photoforum exhibit all day. Add to that my friend Arindam's insistence on drinking a Sam Adams. Head abuzz, I slid through gawkers to make this image of life's most improbable of couples. But who am I to judge love's infinite loops?

The Seventh Annual Asian American Literary Awards
Each year, The Asian American Writers' Workshop honors outstanding achievement in Asian American literature through our Annual Asian American Literary Awards. Now in their seventh year, the literary awards are again taking submissions for eligible works in fiction, poetry and creative nonfiction. We encourage you to take part in this wonderful opportunity.
The postmark deadline for submitting work is Friday, April 16, 2004. Please read through the guidelines below to see if your work is eligible.
Books may be nominated by literary agents, publicists, or authors. All entries must be accompanied by an application form. To download an application, please check here.
