This is a fun little blog post about my ideal digital photography workflow, using Twitter links.
A potential clients calls and I check my schedule using @Setster. I manage my booking & contracts using @ShootQ. I photograph the wedding with @NikonUSADotcom cameras & lenses & strobes. Then I download my @SanDisk CF 8gb or 16gb cards with their speedy FireWire CF Card Reader. Next, I view and edit all images using @PhotoMechanic. I bring all the selected images into @Lightroom. Using @Quikeys or @RPGKeys to enhance the images using @KubotaTools & @GetTotallyRad presets. Retouching images is next using @Photoshop actions from @KubotaTools, @GetTottalyRad, @randykepple, @jeshderox. I then export the images as JPGs to @Pictage (where they are archived and delivered to my clients in a password protected gallery).
For album orders, I import those images that tell a story into @PhotoJunction album designs. I create layouts of my client's album using @Qbyfeed and other self-designed templates. I transfer all my layouts via @panic‘s Transmit FTP client to one of the following album companies: @visionartbook @Kissbooks @queensberrynz @loktah @cypressalbums @BlurbBooks. When I receive the albums, I package the wedding albums using @myjoliewraps and ship them to wedding clients via @UPS_News.
If I think of anything else I can add, I'll come back here and update the post. By the way, my own Twitter account is – @picseshu. Go on, follow me!
Why don't you list your chosen workflow using Twitterese in the comments section below? Tell me what you think?
