Dave LaBelle's reprint of what I call a classic, must-have book for all photojournalists – staff, freelancers, students –The Great Picture Hunt, is out again.
“Like stalking wild game or unearthing hidden treasure, shooting good feature pictures requires instinct and skill.”
More on this book in the near future, but I wanted to pass this info along to you so that you can support this long-running project and much sought after book. I am really drooling over my copy.

Is there a way to obtain permission to use a couple of your photographs in a mutli-media presentation I am preparing for the
2005 IANDS Conference? IANDS is the International Association for Near Death Studies. They have an internet site. The focus of this year’s conference is “Using the Near Death Experience as a Tool for Living.” IANDS is using two songs my brother and I wrote — at their banquet (closing the conference). I would be happy to mail you a CD of the songs. I must put together a visual presentation to illustrate the songs, called “Orbit” and “Small Planet” (both under copyright in the U.S.
I am looking for visuals that will truly illustrate the lyrics for my songs. I am particularly taken with the image of tired feet, I think they are in boots, and the image of the makeshift Palestinian wall. I am searching for an image to represent “the borders and boundaries created by men.
If you contact me via e-mail — perhaps we can have further conversation regarding the above.
Sincerely, Linda Rosch Fiddler42@starpower.net
