After months of research [yeah, rite – more like hand wringing], I have jumped the film ship for icy cold digital waters. Here is proof [grin]:

Thanks to Harikrishna, Maran and others who nudged me along to make the move. Will I be shooting RAW or JPGs? Hmmm … all will be revealed eventually. I am trying to come up with a sane workflow. Advice/suggestions welcome.

I have to admit that when I saw this box at home, I responded to the UPS man like he was Santa Claus and danced like it was Christmas morning. Ok, I am slightly embellishing what really happened, but you get the picture.

I have yet to unpack the strobe, the memory cards etc. Just taking it all in one at a time. However, here is a sample of what I recently shot with the D70s. The image is of my son doing what he does best:
